I Dare You

Last night I went looking for a nightly read and found The Love Dare which my mom got for me in February. I decided right then 6 months was too long to wait to read this book. After reading the intro I realized it's more of a daily challenge and not much of a novel but Bret and I are starting the Love Dare on each other and I am pumped. I can't wait to see where this challenge leads our relationship. I love to LOVE.

In the mean time I started reading Endless Profits by Infusionsoft's Tyler Garns and I finished it already! As a small business owner I found myself with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm for my business and I just can't wait to get to work. I've since started reading The Edge of Success by Clate Mask CEO and co-Founder of Infusionsoft. I am lucky enough to enjoy Infusion's fully automated software. It is something great for all of you small business owners to look into. Bret is fortunate enough to work for Infusionsoft and all the super fun people there. I keep telling him to get me a job there! LUCKY!

To: Bret From: Wifey

This was one of Bret's Father's day presents. idk why I didn't post it sooner.

Bret's Video

Starting out right

I wish I received an invitation to this wedding. Is it weird that I cried when I watched it? {A happy cry of course.} Truly a great way to start a fun and happy marriage. This makes my top 10 YouTube videos.

Roadmaster

Found this beauty for $5.
What better place to ride it than in the house?
He rides it every day so I guess I am glad I got it.

Da Terror

Attention Michael's employees and shoppers: I apologize for my sons behavior while in your store. I apologize for the consistent "mama, mama! MAMA! mama" followed by the shrill squeals of his disappointment when told no. I also apologize that he is a klepto and sneakily grabs and hides items in the stroller which I ashamedly return when found. You can no doubt guess how he earned the title terrorist.

Kingston Bret Crosby
32 inches tall, 23 lbs
Favorite words: Mama, dirk or dunk {Translates to drink} and Touch Down
Favorite activities: playing cars, watching Cars, guns, making gun sound effects and climbing
Calls every letter in the alphabet "X"
M.O. : Screaming really loud. All Day!
Alias: The Terrorist

Good thing he is equally sweet and adorable. LOVE him!

P. 5 The 4th

It was a CRAZY fun day and these are all the pictures I got.

P. 4 Heritage Park

Bret and I got up early Friday morning to go hike Timpanogos and see the caves. We did not call ahead, we did not make a reservation so after the 1.5 hour drive we got out stretched, saw the line and turned around and went home. My kind of hiking :)

{Bret dominated that mountain, mentally that is}
After our long drive we hooked up with the whole family and went to Heritage Park in SLC.

{5 minutes after we got to the park Kingston wanted up}
{The best place for treats and old fashion toys}
{Most of the grand kids on the mini train}
{My favorite is the petting zoo. I want one!}
{Kingston's favorite was all the trains. "I Choo choo!"}
{Lo was a dream, as usual}

The door to our future is Green

The impossible happened on Monday when Bret and I found our new house in Gilbert. This house was meant to be ours and I new it right when we stepped through the beautiful stained glass door. There is too much to tell about it just yet but lets just say we love it and it wouldn't be ours if we didn't have the best Realtor this state has to offer. A big thanks to Adam Lee!
{here is a picture for those of you having a hard time envisioning Bret actually committing to something in writing}
The house is a new build in the Lyon's Gate Community and is almost move in ready . Our target move in date is August 15th assuming that the loan and paper work goes through ok. We truly have witnessed heavenly father's hand in finding the perfect home for us at just the right time.

We will keep you posted and post more exciting news about our almost house.

P. 3 Game Day

My sister Missi put together an impressive day of exciting events and games including....

{Cracker Whacker}

Card games... never ending card games. {take notice of the tinkerbell cards}

Blob of Children game... haha idk the name of this game

Buried Treasure {as in fake coins buried in sawdust}

and stick your face in something gross relay race.

{Steven rocked the water bucket}

{Mmmm, Pudding}

{nothing like a face full of cold jello}

{this is before the slurping and slopping of children digging in w/ their faces}

{Oh and Bret go tore up on the giant Tarzan swing... literally}

P.3 Cracker Whacker

Q: Why are these children chasing each other with rolled up newspapers? Even more importantly why do they have crackers hanging from their cute little bums?
A: Because it's hilarious! My dad put this activity together and it was the funniest game ever!

This is easily in my top 3 favorite things from our vacation. Too bad the video of the adults playing is to large to upload. {we're talking blackmail material}.

Following Orders

I've been ordered to post something else already... Here it goes.

We went to Utah for a week for my family reunion...

{Blessed portable DVD player)
On the way up, we stopped in Panguich to visit Tami & Ryne and to take part in the hot-air balloon festival.

{matching shirts for our reunion later that day up in Midway}

{Tami & Rynes mean guard dog/cow}

To Be Continued....
