car fix

Kingston has this fixation on toy cars (and the movie) which is cute and everything but I'm wondering if I should be concerned. He "needs" to carry his cars (and I mean ALL of them) at the same time every where he goes. He even wants to take them to bed. He gets frustrated when he can't carry them all at once. Any suggestions?

Randy's best friend, Josh, was the same way! Every time he spent the night here he brought gallon size baggies full of cars with him. He is 16 now and I noticed the other day that he still has them in big (huge) jars in his room. He doesn't play with them now but I think he did up until he was about 13....Get some baggies :) Your children are so dang cute!!! They must look like their parents :)

must be a boy thing! ryder sometimes needs them all lined up next to his pillow before he can fall asleep. just make him a cute little bag that he can keep them in and carry around the house. i'm not one bit crafty so ryder's are in a ziplock bag but i'm sure you can come up with something super cute for all those cars!

maybe they are his comfort thing. Haylie has her elephant. it MUST go everywhere (except nursery). get his a little box to put them in for travel and maybe a rule that they must remain there while out. Good Luck. that's a lot of cars to handle.

Simon did the exact same thing. He learned how to carry about 10+ cars at a time! Then he moved onto trains. . .
The goot thing is that now he just carries around his favorite 3 or 4 instead of 10.
Kingston is such a cutie!

My nephew was like that, so my sister-in-law got him a backpack that he could carry them all in. He's out of that stage now, I think, and it helped him not get so mad! That is so cute!

Just embrace the car love. I married a man who did this as a child. WE Still have toy cars in our office that Luke isn't allowed to touch because they are Daddy's special cars lol! Luke is following in his foot steps too. At least he isnt want to collecting. Kevin's little brother did this with Army men and those things Hurt to step on so be greatfull for now that it is cars :)
