The pictures tell the story but my BABY is standing. On the one hand I am sad/scared every time he learns to be more independent and mobile because well he's a magnet for trouble but also relieved because the more mature he is when the sequel is born the better.

Where's Reed?
Reedy kid has stayed over a few times and him and kingston have become good buddies. They LOVE to play games like hide and seek tag....
show us some trix
I haven't been so great at blogin' so here are some tricks the kid has developed over the last few months. As a mom entertainment is plentiful. (excuse my dorky laugh in most of them)

I see how it is...
I'm starting to see a trend... Everywhere I take Kingston it's a guarantee that someone will tell me how sweet and adorable he is or what a cute baby and how smart he is, directly followed by, "he is just like his dad". Like I have nothing to do with it...
To make it even worse, King will chose Bret over me every time and cries when Bret leaves the room. Can't a mom catch a break :(

Something worth blogging
It's Sunday and I'm reading a book in dead silence on the couch while Bret is catching up on others' blogs. Then, I hear this beautiful song playing on the computer. After a second or two I have to ask who is singing... Bret says "shhhh" so I start to get really curious as I am waiting for my turn to watch what he is watching. So I go back to my book until the song is done playing. When I ask for my turn Bret is rendered speechless and I see huge crocodile tears streaming down his face. (Awe, real men aren't afraid to cry). He even cried the second time he watched it with me. He got the following story and video off of Josh Rogers blog. This is truly something worth spreading so please feel free to post the story on your blog for friends and family. Read the story first and then watch the video. (ps. tissue is a must)
There was this young man and his father...
The son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?'. The father, despite having a heart condition, said 'Yes'.
They went on to complete the marathon together.
Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together.
One day the son made a suggestion - 'Dad, let's do the Ironman together.' Again, his father said, 'Yes'.
For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon of all. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island. The father and son went on to complete the race together.
