We haven't picked a middle name yet (cuz we can't agree on one of course) so I thought I would get some more ideas out there. What's your suggestion?

The Ribbon Store
Carli and Aubrey came out to my side of town and we went to the Ribbon store. Yes this is a store with isles and isles of ribbon and bows. It was my first time there and I thought it was so cool. I got some ribbon for some plain burp clothes I had. I told Carli I would post pictures so she could see them all done. I also made matching pacifier lanyards. Can you believe it? I used blue!!! Now I have to go clean up my mess :)

I like Candy
We made a big fat mess decorating gingerbread houses the day after Thanksgiving. It was pretty fun making the mess though. The first house is mine, then Chad and Marie's gingerbread man, then Tami & Katy's House and then Lisa's. I must say for a bunch of first timers their houses/men turned out pretty "sweet"!

Blogger Hacked!
That's right folks! I figured out how to create my own blogger template. I am sure lots of people already know how to do this but all the fun for me was figuring out how to do it by myself. Now I can create my own backgrounds, banners, change the coloumn colors and widths, the opacity and so on and so forth. If it sounds complex that's because it is! Writing html code is not easy people! Anyways, Hope you like the new style :)

Re-gaining my Crown
Becki and I cruised on over to the West Side in our new little Scion for a little Sunday evening gathering with all of her bro's and sis's and their kids. We had festive treats (like Becki's pumpkin roll that is delectable) and then played Nertz. I had to re-match Paul who had some beginner's luck and beat me Saturday night. Well, as you can see it was pretty intense. I didn't talk as much smack at first this time when I got off to an early lead, just in case Paul or Becki caught fire. Well I will boastfully announce that I won. Becki gave me a scare and Paul was right behind, but I came through at the clutch and took home the glory. I'm trying to upload a video as well. We'll see if it works! All the background noise on the video is the herd of rambuctious kids playing. Hey Tawni, you say you think you're pretty good at Nertz huh? Well I say Bring It On!
You can just feel the intensity-
Barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen...
So today while we were making our after church lunch of grilled cheese crisps, tomatoe soup and chocolate milk, I noticed that my wife was barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen. So I had to snap a quick pick. Sorry babe, but it's kind of funny. And it reminded me of a joke. It goes like this: So, why did the woman cross the road? I don't know but what is she doing out of the kitchen? Haha. Ok, I don't really feel like that, but it's good for a little chuckle.

Temple Night
Whenever my brothers and sisters come to our side of town to go to the temple we get to watch the kids. They all painted Christmas ornaments and ate pizza, then we watched movies and had popcorn. 6 is a handful, I don't think I could do it everyday.
When They got back we played our new favorite game Nerts! Congrats to new comer Paul who smoked us all his first time ever playing. Man i LOVE that game.

Puppies for Sale!
Our neighbors are selling their chihuahua puppies. They are pure chihuahua. The mom is short hair and the dad is long hair and they are both very small. The puppies are all boys and had their first shots already. They are about 8 weeks now and ready to go to a good home for $400- $450. Let me know if you are interested. They are incredibly cute!

Boxy is Foxy
We got a new car... if you can call it a car.
We sadly traded in my sweet little bug for a toaster! We traded my car in today for a 06 Scion xb. We shopped and shopped around and finally decided on the xb. It has the highest ratings and reviews and was voted in the top 10 most wanted cars by both the experts and consumers on Edmunds.com
It has 24,000 miles on it and gets an amazing 34 miles per gallon, has keyless entry and power doors and windows, tinted glass, mp3/cd premium sound system, ipod adapter, and a safety package for our little Kingston. It has a ton of space inside too and plenty of leg room. Lots of room for our junk. I also like the road side assistance that came with it and the 100,000 mile warranty! It will be so much easier getting our kids in and out all the time.
Bret isn't fond of the body style but we both agree it was a smart buy. We already have tons of equity in it too from our trade in so we are excited to pay it off really soon. I am super glad Bret helps me to be patient... some things are important to investigate and worth waiting for the best offer. He's pretty much the smartest/sweetest husband EVER!

Job Opening
Pretty soon here I will be taking maternity leave at Michael's and so I need to start looking for someone to take over as the Event Coordinator while I am gone. It's a great job with fun benefits. It's more of a job for fun for someone looking for a laid back part time job. Let me know if you think you might be interested and I can tell you more about it. Fun Fun!

Friday Night Lights
There's nothing like Friday nights under the lights. Becki and I went to my alma mater's (Round Valley) state playoff second round game Friday night way out at some high school in Queen Creek I had never heard of. But the drive was well worth it. My good friend Trey Whiting and his little girl Ella came with us. We got some grub from the tailgaters from RV and enjoyed the sweet sunset and the perfect weather while also witnessing the mighty Elks kick some Wickenburg butt 28 to 14! I'll admit it, I am a frequent visitor to the White Mountain Football Smackboard. Here's the link:

Although I have never posted, I often enjoy reading all the smack between all the 3A East teams, especially when some Bill Lundbergh dude from Wickenburg sounds off about how bad Wick is going to kill RV, and then we win, and decisively at that. Haha sucker! This Friday we play Coolidge at MCC to see who goes to the title game. Let's go Elks-

Here is the student section at the game. I was really impressed; they stood and cheered loud the entire game. RV school spirit has really improved since I was there...Hmmm, maybe that's because the football team is now actually good.

WHAT???
Bret and I have had some great company this weekend and we played Nerts with a few of them. Even though he is probably going to take this post off I thought I would show off his streak of bad luck. He was losing pretty bad but I didn't think it would last long so I took a picture when I had the chance. He came back until the very last round when he lost big time. Rennai did pretty amazing for her first time playing. She was in the lead till the very last round when I got a lucky hand. I only won by like 3 points though. It was a ton of fun, thanks for everyone who came to hang out with us. We like visitors and games.

Web Gallery
Hey Lisa- Here is the link to our web gallery. Whenever we have a lot of pictures of something like Halloween I will put them on there so we don't have to post as many on the blog but you guys can still see them. You can also download them to your computer if there are pictures of you and stuff that you want for yourself. Isn't technology so convenient?
